Dear Mother Nature. Enough. A-men.
My camera and I are inept to the point of ad nauseam.
Literally.
I just can not shake this 4-month-24/7-morning-sickness-thing to save my stomach. I, thankfully, escaped hospitalization this week after finally being able to keep a Saltine and a Gatorade down.
And now for something I thought I'd never type. I'm desperately trying to GAIN WEIGHT. Raincheck please!
On the bright side, we planned a vacation. It would be a total bonus if I actually get to go along on it. Otherwise, it's myself, 25 movie rentals and Von Furstein.
What a beautiful puppy!! I bet Von Furstein has been enjoying the snow! (And would love to spend a vacation cuddled up on the couch with you)
Seriously, I don't think you can go wrong here. Either option, sounds fine by me.
That pooch? Icetastic.
I don't know about twins, but isn't it after the four month mark that your tummy is supposed to settle down? I hope it does for you. I can't even imagine what this has been like for you, I hope you get out for that trip!
Oh, staying home with a cute furry face isn't so bad either.
Oh, dear. I hope your tummy troubles get better soon so you can enjoy your vacation!! Where are you going?
Good luck with that morning sickness I still have it and I am almost 24 weeks.
How soon is your vacation
Oh, I don't like hearing that you were almost in the hospital and I'm glad things are looking up - I hope it stays that way. You take care of yourself and those precious babies!! Great photo - I love your dog!
Have a great Friday - Kellan
You've GOT to be able to go on vacation. Get better now!!!!!! Leave the weight loss for LATER! ;)
I do hope you feel better soon. At least you have a furry warm puppy to snuggle. Love that little bit of snow in his hair.
More ick-ness??? You've got to be close, or does it last longer with twins? Double the fun???? Oh, that's gonna get old quick, isn't it?
Here's to hoping you'll be able to go on that vacation, 'cause after you rent all 25 flicks, it might be a better deal :)
Take care, you . . .
Welcome to a twin pregnancy. It will end. And you will gain weight. I promise.
Thinking of you (both of you) very specially. At this stage the morning sickness might / should be ready to recede.
Our thoughts are with you ....
Good luck! You totally deserve a vacation.
Twins!! Congratulations!!
Do take care.
Hope the morning sickness ends soon. Mine lasted for almost 6 months!
Have a great vacay!!!
When I was pregnant with the babies, I was sick until 21 weeks. Puking at least once a day. Here's hoping that yours ends much sooner.
I love the ice covered dog. I hope you have a wonderful vacation. I could sure use one.
I hope you start feeling better, soon! Great photo, btw.
You poor girl. Eat girl eat! I hope you end up getting to go on vacation. :) *hugs* Oh, eat gravy, it should help you beef up.
pretty doggy! sorry to hear about your morningnoonnight sickness! yuck!
You poor thing! But, that doggie is too cute! Hope you feel better soon!
Oh Puppy! Hey looks just like my Jackers!!!!
25 rentals and a warm furry sounds like a vaca to me, but here's to hoping you get the real one with the family.
I am saying a reverse-gear prayer for you right now. Just think--nothing lasts forever-those Twinkies will be smiling at you in no time! and you'll forget all about this, right?
Wow, I feel for you (well as much as a guy can) -- I honestly don't know how the world population survives.
I hope things start looking up for you.
What a good looking dog!
What a pretty puppy! So adorable. :)
So sorry you're feeling bleck still. Not fun. I had it bad (and did NOT have twins) so I can relate. But I love that pictures, I love the frozen drips right along the dog's mouth. My dog has frozen slobber hanging off his chin after I walk him it's so freaking cold here.
Do the vacation!!! You might end up feeling fantastic.
I so hope you feel better soon! That must stink.
Keep on those saltines. That was my saving grace!
I hope the morning sickness goes away soon. I also hope you go on that vay-cay.
Love your dog.
What a great shot! I hope you start feeling better soon.
Sorry to tell ya, but my third pregnancy, I was sick the whole time (although I only made it to 35 weeks, maybe you will too!). Sorry you're so sick! Try a popscicle. Good luck with the weight gain!
Oh honey! The non-stop morning sickness is the worst. Feel better soon.
Vacation or time alone? Hmmmm...that is a toughy. I had a hard time gaining weight because I couldn't keep anything down either. Lemonheads, sweet tarts and cheese tots really helped. Not necessarily all together but you know. :o)
I am crossing my fingers, eyes and toes you make that vacation.
Hoping the nausea starts to subside soon!
Can I send weight virtually...I'll be happy to share. Seriously though, I hope you're feeling better soon and the twins just knock off this kicking-you-in-the-butt thing before they even make an appearance.
Your dog is gorgeous by the way!
Here's hoping you get to go!
Oh I hope you get to go on your vacation, but your Furstein is so so cute!
What a great photo!!
Those darn hormones. I sure hope it settles down soon for you. I'm sending soothing, healing thoughts your way.
Sounds like a plan to me. :) And a nice cozy movie-watching partner you've got there!
Oh man....I hope the sickness passes really, really soon and that *gasp* you're able to GAIN some weight!!
Oh sweet girl - I hope you are feeling better . . . if you haven't already tried this: ginger pills and there are prenatal vitamins that stop nausea
Oh honey, I hope you feel better soon. I guess it's nausea times two, huh? (sorry, I know, not funny... forgive me?)
Enjoy your vacay and Darling doggie!
Ugh, you poor thing. I hope the morning sickness gets better!
Cute picture of your dog. I love the snow on his whiskers.
Well, as I lay here in the horizontal position with the laptop on the coffee table in hopes that I don't have to run to the porcelain throne as well...cheers to a hopeful vacation, although I'd much rather sit with my hairy child with a load of movies, myself.
Oh, and I bet my belly is bigger than yours at this point! Why does something the size of a binki (or two in your case) make your belly the size of a watermelon, already?
OH man....I so wish for your sickness to ease up. I'm sorry. :(
hugs!
Ahhhh, I hope you feel better soon. And I hope you get to make your vacation!
Ummmm and a BIG congratulations! Just linked over to your previous post and didn't realize it was twins:)
Oh... I hope you feel better. I know these twin pregnancies can be rough. Hang in and know that either option will work.
Sorry you're feeling so bad with your pregnancy. Hope things get better soon.
Hope the wretched morning sickness eases off pretty soon as it probably will. Horrible way to have to lose weight. Hope it settles down really soon and that you will start to gain the pounds!
Morning sickness is the worst! Hope you are feeling better SOON!! Yeah, the vacation would be nice if you get to go, but I'm bettin' that puppy would LOVE to stay home with you cuddled up watching movies!
OMG, I completely love your doggy. That is such a cute picture.
I want someone to tell me to gain weight! Cute puppy! :)
poor boo...hope the el tummy calms down soon. that's just stinky!
I hope you feel better soon! Great shot and he would be a good companion too.
Your doggie is so cute!!!
I hope you feel better soon and can keep some more food down.
Great shot of such a beautiful pooch!
Hope you start feeling better soon!
I had twins and was sick (REALLY SICK) for all 35 weeks.
On the bright side, your pup is beautiful and you have a vacation. :)
Oh and I forgot - have you tried Emitrol (it's behind the counter). Give it a shot, it helped somewhat.
Is that the dog who once called 911 and saved your life? Ha! ;) He looks like fun.
I'm sorry to hear about your "morning" sickness. I hope it goes away soon.
Love the photo! I hope you get gaining weight...I'd be happy to share..giggling. I hope you get feeling better and that you escaped the hospital visit!
Awww . . . what a doll!
i hope you feel well soon, enough to go on vacation!
I hope the sickness ends soon.
Oh, hon! You are having a rough go of it, aren't you? I do hope you are feeling well enough to go on a vacation. You need it!
Take care and E me if you need me! *smooches*
what a gorgeous dog!! Glad you started eating again, don't stress the weight will come.
ugh...morning sickness is no fun! I feel for you!
I hope the morning sickness goes soon. Unlike you, I bought my ticket into the hospital for rehydration therapy TWICE! So not fun. Stay hydrated, don't get a kidney stone. You can read all about my pregnancy fun with Gabby...
Hope you feel better. Super picture as always. and adorable dog!
Ohh girl!
((((((HUGS))))))
If I could help you out with the gaining weight part count me in...lol..I wish!
I hope you get to go on the vacation :)
HUGS
LOVE THE PIC!
I hope you get to go on vacation. But if you don't it looks like you'll have great company!
cute! hope the morning sickness ends SOON!
My son and I giggled so hard at our dog the other night, his nose was all full of snow, like he just stuck it in a pile. (better snow than shit, but still) it was funny!
Congratulations are in order I see, oh how wonderful for you! I have three grown children and I so miss holding them the only way you can hold them when they're newborns. Lucky you! I've really missed visiting you and all your talent. I just want to hug Von Furstein and you my friend. :)
OH, that face is just adorable! He's obviously feeling much better than you... I really really hope you feel much better soon - surely Mother Nature has someone else to move on to now? Lots and lots of love and good wishes!
Love the dog. And I hope you get to go on your vacation - or at least get a vacation from the morning sickness!
Great pic! He reminds me of my childhood golden, Trusty. Glad you are starting to get past that first trimester junk!
Okay - so I lied on how long the 'morning' sickness lasts - truly, I think mine lasted 4 months... I feel you Girlfriend - this too will pass pretty effing soon.
xoxoxoxoxox
Late to the party again!
That is a darling picture. I remember the 24 hour a day vomiting/nauseous yuckiness.
I hope it clears up for you SOON!!!
Not being an anorexic kinda gal, I can safely say, 'I'd swop ya' for that weight gain issue you've got going.
I'm sorry to hear the twins are keeping your stomach twisted in knots. I hope it passes soon or at least sometime in the 2nd trimester. :) It would make for a kind of rough vacation.
Love the frosty beard though.
I'm sure Von Furstein would be thrilled if you were home with him. But I do remember how awful that all day sickness is and I really hope you're feeling better soon.
This too shall pass - here's praying for no hospitilization.
KEEP BELIEVING
you are really not selling me on the whole 'another pregnancy' thing.
i'm feeling really glad to be un-pregnant.
hope it changes for you soon. (the sickening) :)
I hope you feel better really soon so that you can actually ENJOY this double miracle happening inside of you!
Oh, I hope you get to go and that you feel better soon! Pregnancy sickness is the worst...I suffered with it for both of my pregnancies. I wouldn't wish that stuff on my worst enemy! Gatorade and saltines...just thinking about it makes my stomach hurt.
is this broke?
Love the doggy! Hope you are feeling better soon and it doesn't last the whole pregnancy. If you haven't read No More Morning Sickness, it might have suggestions that will help. I found some recipes and suggestions that helped me survive the following pregnancies better than I did the first.
UMMMMM. Gatarade and saltines. Food of the Gods. Sorry you're so sick. I've been thinking about you.
Here's hoping you get to take that vacation. Heaven knows you deserve it!
Great pic, as always!
At the point of hospitalization and you can still take a picture like that? I am impressed!
Seriously though, what a relief you were able to keep something down. I'm sure you'll be feeling better soon. Have you tried the Ensure for Expectant Moms? My doctor recommended that for me to try and gain weight. So sorry you are having such a rough time. I hope you get to go on vacation! It's just nice to have a change of scenery sometimes. Helps take the edge off.
Just found your blog and have not read through much but wanted to give a word of encouragement. Hang in there - you might actually eat again someday! I had hyperemesis for the forst 16 weeks of my triplet pregnancy...lost a lot of weight when I was supposed to be gaining loads. My heart goes out to you and I hope you feel better soon. As for having 3 under 3, trust yourself and disregard most of the well meaning comments made by all your friends and family who do not have multiples...join a local and national multiples support network, it'll be a great resource. Trust yourself and enjoy what you can. Very Best Wishes to you and your family.

Ooof, so much all-day-sickness. That is reallly rough.
Thank goodness you have a loveable pooch to be by your side.
Very funny post! I love the picture! Sorry to hear about your sickness. I dealt with that for the first 5 months with my 3rd child. Good luck to you!
well, at least you get double prizes when all the sickness is done! hope you feel better soon!!! and stay out of hospital!
I hope you manage to get to go on the vacay - but at least poochie will keep you company if you can't, right?
I love that photo! What a doll-face!
And feel better soon...
:^) Anna
Jeez! I hope you are feeling better! I'm sure twins are just wreaking havoc with your system. Yuck!
I hope hope hope you can go on vacation! But what a little cutie to snuggle up with if you can't!
Oh I cannot imagine being sick 24/7 when you are that far along. Hopefully it will subside a bit for you soon. You poor thing. Good thoughts sent your way lady!
I'll send more G2 and Saltines. Great photo!
Great picture. I'm glad you were able to keep some food down, and I hope the nausea passes soon. Enjoy your movies!
That is a beautiful picture! Hope you're able to get some relief soon.
You poor dear!! Timing just really stinks, man. I mean, why can't you be all "I need to gain weight!" like 3 weeks after giving birth? I'm with you - rain check! Not fair.
What a fantastic picture!!
I am hoping you will feel better soon.
Yuk. It lasted 4 months the first time for me. The second time not as long, but I was sick for 7 months. (Flu, sinus infections, etc... a solid 7 months). I tell you this because I was an unhealthy mess. I DID gain weight (because chocolat--Godiva to be specific) was the only thing that was good any time, but I was unhealthy. Baby had a rough start (but nothing serious), but is completely fine now. Do what you can, but don't let the doctors bully you. You know how you feel and what you can do. But then again, avoiding the hospital is a good thing!
Oh yeah! Love the dog photo!
Hope you're feeling better....
A - Dog is is frackin adorable. He's got a snow-stache! Or snow-tee? Hm....
B - Can I steal him?
C - HOLY CRAP! I'm SO behind!! I totally didn't know you were preggers!! Congratulations!!
Holy CRAP again - twins?!? Good gravy... I've lost touch! I'm sososo sorry. Oh BABY x 2!!
