In Living Color.
Today: We finally saw something other than a whiter shade of pale. Instantly happy.
Tomorrow: A forecast of 80 delectable degrees and sunny. Deliriously happy.
This weekend: We need to agree on a short list of baby names. Sam will be notified that first and middle name combos such as DAWN KEEBAWLS or EMMA ROIDS are no longer entertaining. Not so happy.
OH.MY.GOODNESS! Emma Roids...that totally cracked me up! :-)
I love that spring is finally here! I'm going to be outside as much as possible!
Beautiful flowers peeking out of the leaves.
It is exciting choosing names but not like the ones you mentioned!
Beautiful purple flowers!!! I so love spring!
LOL on the names!
How wrong is it that I LOVE THOSE NAMES as much as that shot?!?
*Cuz I totally do.*
*snort My daughter is Emma. I haven't used that one on her...we are due for the same weather. Enjoy!
Hahahahaha, I seriously laughed out loud! "DAWN KEEBAWLS" ~ that's awesome. Sounds like something my husband would suggest.
BEAUTIFUL picture!! Almost looks unreal, that beautiful vibrant colour against the brown/grey leaves. Stunning.
I love your pics. They not only inspire me, but they make me realize I have MILES to go in my photog. learning. You're fab.
My daughter is an Emma, so I can't say that Emma Roids amuses me much either! I hope you can agree on something that won't be humiliating! ;)
Beautiful picture! I am loving the spring weather too!
great spring time picture,
thankyou for sharing
81 tomorrow, 87 on Saturday. Wowza! We jumped from the 50s to the 80s!
I WILL NOT complain.
I am loving, loving the green . . . sprouting along with red, purple and yellow--against the brown. Yes!
Beautiful pic!! We are looking forward to a wonderfully warm weekend too!!
They look so tiny, I'm amazed you saw them! Have a wonderful weekend.

The Mystery Sunset
Snort! Those are brilliantly obnoxious...and I so get living with someone who thinks they are just plain brilliant. :)
Those flowers? Gorgeous.
keebawls? now what's wrong with that? apart from the fact that'll you'll never get a personalised pen off the shelf...
not sure if i'll play today. cupcakes to ice, kids to entertain (school holidays) - and it's supposed to be my day off!
i could do with an 80deg day - it's barely 50 here...
The first color of spring always makes me giddy!
Those are hilarious! The radio station I listed to had a contest where people called in with names like that...I laughed so much! I must have the imagination of a 12 year old.
Tomorrow is going to be sooooo nice.
Great shot.
So is Barb Wire out too?
WOW! What a gorgeous shot!
And yay for the weather tomorrow. Aren't you excited? I can't wait!!!
Dawn Keballs. hehehe It is kinda funny. ;)
Woohoo! 80 degrees sounds divine.
I'm still giggling over the names :) Choosing names was the hardest thing for us! We never actually came up with a boy name. Good thing we had a girl :)
Hooray for Spring!
I'll get the Afrin.
Emma Roids...wish I'd thought of that.
Amen! Spring has sprung!
Great shot, MG - and full marks to Sam for creativity.
He has a distinct Australian gene!
Oh my! I love flowers! I'm always happy to find these little guys! I am wondering if the Trillium is starting to come up - maybe it's too early? Hmm.
Names? Hard one! good luck!
LOL...those are such sweet middle names...giggle.
I LOVE the picture..so beautiful and has me so excited for it to continue!
I love how the flowers just POP out of that brown!
And I LOVE the names...never heard those before. I sure missed a great opportunity! ; )
I just laughed out loud at those names.
"Instantly happy..." Exactly what those flowers would make me. So cute and pretty!
The flowers are beautiful! The names...omgoodness! Yeah, I don't think I'd be so happy either! Happy spring!
My sister's (now ex) husband used to call there unborn child Cletus the Fetus... He might like that!
Those names cracked me up, especially since I have an Emma. I better not tell that one to the hubby or it might become a nickname for her!
here's to a sunny day for you
Great shot... does this mean they're girls?? (judging from the girl names?) :)
No Liz Onya.
I'm so happy spring has sprung in your part of the world!
Those are really beautiful. I really like the contrast of colors.
happy PSF! even though I'm grumpy tonight.
Dawn Keebawls is my favorite. Hilarious!
Sounds like names my hubs would think were OH so funny! (well and they kinda are...)
Glad to see that Spring is finally showing itself in your part of the country! : )
The flowers are beautiful! yeah to nicer weather!!
The names are bad! He really needs to come up with MUCH more acceptable names..... the poor kid has to live with it for the rest of her life!
Liam was named after he was born. He was going to be an Adam but since the delivery nurse seemed bored when I told her but enthusiastic about "Liam" - I changed it on the spot.
oh, so minature, they look lovely in the leaves. Hope springs eternal :)
emma roids ;) love it
So spring has finally sprung? Lovely time to have a baby, or two!
Names were such a problem for us, every time I found one I liked, husband found something derogatory about it - "Harriet the Chariot" was a particular problem, I loved the name Harriet!
3 Cheers for the sun!!
We are hitting 71F here today, hooray for spring!
LOL Too funny. We are expecting fab weather too! I can't wait. Enjoy.
Aren't the first flowers of spring such a joy? I know my heart leaps when they pop up!
Good luck with that. Picking one name is hard enough, two has to be next to impossible.
LOL, good luck with the naming thing
I would have never guessed that Emma flows so well with Roids. Nice combo. You do need to put up your name suggestions here when you get a list going. It's only fair!
Love photos. Flowers are my favorite part about spring.
Love the picture! Gives hope for a beautiful for spring!
The names cracked me up! Good luck on the baby naming game!
I'm am tickled pink I found your site. Another mom who follows her child around with a camera!! I'm a complete novice compared to your gorgeous shots, but I'm working on it. Thanks for the opportunity and congrats on the twins!!!
Lisa
We actually got lucky and stumbled across a great name and there hasn't been any haggling over the names since then. Unless of course the ultrasound that told us a boy is wrong and suddenly he becomes a she at the time of deliver. ;) But I doubt that.
Glad to see you're finally seeing some color. Although still breezy spring has set in here too with a brilliant vengence.
Although, this week is all about sugar cookies.
Isn't spring the best????
Beautiful shot. :)
Gorgeous photo...funny names....LOL! Love your post! Congrats on POTD!
You are hILArious! Emma Roids???
But how fun, you get to name 2 kids!!
Springs a blooming, beautiful bright color. Your photo is so crsip and clean, I can almost imagine how they smell and how great 80 degree weather makes everyone so happy!
**Not that you want my 2 cents worth..but I think you should pick the names if you're hubby's coming up with those! Best of luck, name picking.
BEAUTIFUL!! Congrats on the Post of the Day Award from Authorblog!
i want that photo in my house. wow.
hee hee! See my PSF and prepare to be jealous. ;)
What's wrong with Emma Roids?
Oh. OH!
Yeah. Not funny.
No names like Seymour Hair?
Dawn Keeballs has a nice ring to it!
That is an AWESOME picture. I'm so excited about the sunshine and warm temps!
P.S. good luck with the baby names! :)
Lovely little flowers. Good luck narrowing down baby names! Have a wonderful weekend. :)
That picture is flat out stunning!
Emma Roids...LOL
this photo made me seriously happy
great pic! I have a pic of my crocuses coming up out of old leaves that I am now thinking of posting...congrats on POTD!
Love that shot, the flowers look even prettier with the leaves as a backdrop. The names cracked me up. After watching Marley and Me, we decided maybe our twins should have been named Bob and Marley.
Hooray for spring!! I am so glad to hear that you are getting your much deserved nice weather!
I am so excited for warmer weather too. Good luck with the names. Too funny.
GORGEOUS PIC!!
Emma Roids totally funny!!
i can't wait to see more color over here in our neck of the woods! beautiful picture!!
good luck with the names...sounds like my hubby has been having some conversations with sam -- it would be just like my hubs to come up with names like that too! :)

Such beautiful and delicate flowers. Those names.. not so much. ;) Too funny.
Beautiful picture MG!!
My husband was the same way. We did not have a serious conversation about names until we were at the hospital.
Oh wasn't the warm weather last week wonderful?? Back to the cold again, however. Beautiful shot of spring color. Hopefully we will see more soon!
Oh, those are so beautiful! Look at how vivid the colours are, it almost seems as though I can pick those flowers right off!
I haven't commented for a while - blogging laziness - but I hope you are well and that you and the twins are both healthy! I am so excited for you! Good luck with the name selection, it seems you still have a long way to go...(0:
Hope the weekend was Glorious!!
Suggested Name: Jesus Ignacio...nickname: Chewy Nacho.
Omg. Seeing that picture gave me instant happy. Please send good weather Wyoming way! :)
ps- don't use my name on my blog anymore. I had to get away from psycho crazy people - so that's why my blog disappeared a few weeks ago. :)
GREAT photo.
We couldn't agree on a short list, or a long list, or a single name, and in fact my husband refused to continue talking about it with me until the day our son was born. I apparently drove him a little nuts.
Those are really purdy! Are you sure they're not stickers?
Wow, those flowers don't even look real!
Gorgeous.
Seeing the Hepatica poking through the dry leaves is always my favorite reassurance that spring has FINALLY come, here in Wisconsin!
