What Works For Photos
Whenever I'm out and about, I tend to think of Children of the Corn a lot. I seem to run into cast members, if you know what I mean!
And I have never seen Children of the Corn. Swear. Love the kernels! (:
Wow.... Gorgeous! The colors.... It could be a pattern for a fabric or beads of some sort.
Now that is amazing! Wow.
Oooooh! That is so pretty. I can hardly ever resist buying a few decorative ears of corn. Then when I get home I belatedly realize, OOPS, I don't HAVE anywhere to actually put decorative corn. But hey. It's too gorgeous to turn down, right?
I'm thinking so THAT's how they make those red and blue chips with my salsa..KEEP BELIEVING
Hellz yeah, that IS the scariest movie ever. I own it.The picture has to be one of my favorites of yours.
That's an awesome picture. I've never actually seen Children of the Corn.
How does that corn come out all different colors like that - so pretty! Yes - Children of the Corn - SCARY!Take care - Kellan
I do too! It's one of my favorites! But I still love corn, just not corn fields. :)
Wow, very Niiiiiiiiice. That color? Amazing!
I love that photo (and the movie!).According to the wiki, the movie is being remade and will be airing on Sci-fi sometime next year.I'm totally watching it and I will be hoping it doesn't suck.
GREAT photo! I love the colors. Have to know...which lens? ;)
I'm just getting ready to shoot some indian corn myself. That's a great shot -- I really need to invest in a macro lens -- you seem to be having all the fun. Children of the Corn? I still can't do corn mazes.
Me and cornfields. I used to drive by them. Now I live by them. Freaky.
Great shot. Real corn?? Happy WW.
Yep, I live by cornfields too! LOVE your kernels girl!!! Ha!

Well, there are a lot of corn fields in these parts. You must be scared all the time! ;)That movie scared the bejeezus out of me. Horrid movie. Gorgeous shot. I love the colors!
I love the colors of the corn. fun Macro! HOpe all is well with you and yours. :)happy WW!
I've never seen the movie either. Love the pattern of colors there. Why can't I find corn that pretty?
That's an incredibly striking photo. Just beautiful!
Wow, that is so beautiful!
I intentionally don't watch movies like that, but even I know what it's about, and your writing its name has just given me the heebie-jeebies. Thanks for that. Not.
WOW this shot is spooktacular! What a gorgeous shot. I have this fortunate memory issue and things I watched or did before 1985 are a blur if anything-- therefore Children of the Corn has been wiped other than the opening and a bit of the middle-- nothing to bug me in the dark.
I couldn't work out what you photo was for awhile. I've never seen corn like that before! I wonder if they have them here....
What a fun picture! I didn't know what it was until I read the caption. Is it sad that I didn't know corn was ever any color but yellow?
Wow! Amazing shot. Love the colors. Oh and I never saw that movie either. I def won't watch it now, I am way scaredy cat!
I never saw it...but that sure is some pretty corn you got there;)
SO FULL OF AWESOME!!Love Linda Hamilton!!

Great close up of indian corn! I can't even put that stuff up for decoration because W.W. wants to eat it. Corn=yummy=munch much munch LOLAnd yes, Children of Corn was the scariest movie ever for me too.
Nice shot! I'm too afraid to see Children of the Corn.-Amy @ The Q Family
Dang you and your macro lens!!! And, I hate scary movies! Will you come tutor me on how to use my camera? You rock..I suck!
I want pretty corn too. (I've pushed the Children of the Corn right out of my head...)
Great Fall picture! Nice shot! :D I've never seen Children of the Corn but I can tell you the scariest movie that I have seen....Cujo. (Stephen King)
I have never seen Children of the Corn. Don't want to.Awesome shot!
Love that image! I fell asleep watching Children of the Corn... what does that say about me?
MALACHI!!! Wasn't that the evil bastard's little name? He scared the piss outa me. Dang that was a scary movie. But that picture, per usual, simply sublime and GORGEOUS!
I have never seen that movie....call me Wimpy!I wonder if that corn popped it if would be colorful!awesome shot.
That would make a perfect desktop background!
LOVE the colors in this. Come on Fall, we're ready!
Oh, but its so pretty! Like old fashioned Christmas bulbs or something...I don't think I've seen all of Children of the Corn, so maybe that's why I got all weird and sentimental instead of freaked. Or maybe I'm just weird. :)
OMG -- creepy scary. Amazing picture. I love your creativity. You really are an awesome photographer.
Cool colours. Is that natural? I've never seen corn any other colour but yellow. Then again, I hadn't seen a purple carrot until this year!
He wants you too Malachai. That is a freaky movie. Great shot though.
That is way too beautiful to eat!!!
great picture...I don't know if I ever made it all the way through that movie, but I tend to block that kind of thing from memory.
LOVE the photo! I never saw the movie...I'm THAT big of a chicken when it comes to cracked out scary movies. ~melody~
you know, i'd JUST got to the point where i STOPPED thinking about children of the corn. thank you for that. dangit. i had paid up my therapy bill and all. frick. but i love this picture!

My brother use to come into my room after I was asleep and say, "Wait til Malachi comes..mooo oo oo oo ah ah ah ah." Creeped me the hell out.
Wow, look at those colors...so beautiful!
Cool picture--as usual!
Never had the courage to watch that movie and I'm glad I didn't. Can't stomach scary movies!
That's crazy! It looks like it was polished with some Wet n Wild or something!Oh yea, corn mazes - major heebie jeebies...
I would never. EVER. watch such a scary movie. BUT I love your photo of ornamental corn. I have never seen such a photo. Spectacular. I used to grow it in my garden (when I lived where one could have a big garden). Although I hated "corn worms," I loved husking it because each one was like Christmas. Never knew what would be inside, but it was always beautiful!
Wow, that is some pretty dang beautiful corn! Lovely shot of it. Personally I watch about one scary movie every 2 years. I'm not a fan of 99% of them. I don't need the nightmares...I don't get enough sleep as it is!
That movie scared the pee outta me. I shiver when I hear people call their children Malachai or Mordachai...
I have never seen that movie and it STILL scares me...why is that???
What a fantastic macro shot! And have I mentioned that you have the BEST titles EVER?! Seriously, what is your secret for coming up with those?
Yep. Badly wanted to name one of my kids Malachi--I mean, what a cool name! But couldn't do it, all because of that horrible movie! And I never even saw the whole thing!Blessings!
It really is time to start decorating isn't it. sighhh. Gorgeous color on that cob.
wow! what is this? very beautiful :) I would have to agree children of the corn gives me the creeps!
I love that corn shot :) I agree though- I think of the same exact thing :)
Thats nice corn. Is that real corn? Yeah..children of the corn really scarry..old horror movies is scarrier than the one with technology.
Awesome! Children of the Corn - freaky, dude, freaky.
Beautiful photo's! When I round up my kids and their friends I usually refer to them as "Children of the Corn." When my daughter finally asked what it meant, she was horrified by the answer. :)
