Nice shoes...I'll be in a gym all weekend watching my daughter slug it out on the basketball court and hopefully impress a college coach or two;)

Sounds like a good weekend. :) We're off to Colorado tomorrow and celebrating our anniversary on Saturday then down to shoot a wedding the following weekend in Missouri. Nice little vacation full of tons of photo ops. :)

I think we'll be sticking closer to home all summer this year because of nasty gas prices ~ and a gas-guzzling van. And hubby's job. Good thing we've got 4 nice lakes and 6 campgrounds within about an hour's drive!

great haiku....we don't have memorial day here in Canada (well, we do...just not this weekend), but i hope yours is fantastic...sometimes it's nicer to stay at home and have fun than going through the hassle of travelling, don'tcha think? ;-)

It's Spring Bank Holiday here in the UK. I'll be painting 23 fence panels Red Cedar, then collapsing in a heap with a chilled bottle of Chenin Blanc. Don't you just love Bank Holidays?

We didn't do much of anything. Barbecued at other people's houses. :) It was busy but enjoyable.
We had one of those busy long weekends that you need to take another long weekend just to recover from. Went to Colorado to see the family. However, the zoo sounds like it would have been infinitely more relaxing. :)
