Homemade Foaming Hand Soap
I admit it - I have a thing for foaming hand soap over regular pump dispensing soap. And we go through it so fast at our house. Making it yourself is SO easy and inexpensive (a fraction of the cost of re-purchasing). All you really need is a foaming dispenser to get started and a big bottle of liquid soap refill.
Here's the recipe:
*A foaming dispenser; to re-use
*Add 3 parts liquid soap of your liking (a guesstimate is fine- it's not exact)
*Add remaining parts water
Voila! Foam away!
It works for us!
yay! i've been wondering how to do this...thanks!
Works for us too! :)
I'm so glad you did a post on this. I've been saving my empty foaming soap dispenser, hoping that I'd find a recipe to make more myself! Thanks! My little girl loves using this stuff!
Thanks - I'm going to try this!
I just figured this out too! Of course the foaming bottles say to only use their foaming refills--just to get you to pay more for watered down soap! DIY works for me.
Thanks so much for the tip.
I do this too, love it!
Perfect! Thanks so much! My husband just informed me that he prefers the foaming soaps but they are always at least a dollar more. I can't wait to try this out.
Thanks for this great idea! With 5 kiddos washing hands can be an expensive habit! I'll give it a try!
Thank you so much! I've been wanting the recipe... gonna try it with dishsoap... in the children's bathroom, of course ;o)
