Strawberry Spinach Salad Recipe
Strawberry Spinach Salad
20 oz fresh spinach
3/4 cup whole pecans (toasted 5 min @ 350)
2 pints fresh strawberries (sliced)
Dressing
1/3 C red wine vinegar
1 t dry mustard powder
1 t salt
1 1/2 T minced onion
1/2 C sugar
1 1/2 T poppy seeds
1 C oil
Mix spinach, pecans and strawberries in a large bowl. Mix all the dressing ingredients in the blender until well blended. Toss over salad and serve.
It works for us.

I love this salad. I make one very similar, but it has a sweet poppy seed dressing, feta cheese, and thinly sliced red onion -- it is sooooo good!

Sounds delish. I make a similar salad, but with raspberries...this one sounds better.

This is, by far, my most favorite summer salad. Mine has walnuts, but I'm sure the pecans are just as good.

One friend( who work selling viagra online ) told me that strawberry spinach salad was the worst thing he had eaten in all his life. However, my mother prepared it tomorrow, and I stayed fascinated. I've eaten similar salads, but anyone as good as this one. It's so delicious definitely has a flavor out of this world.
