The Olive Garden Salad Recipe

Who doesn't love the Olive Garden salad? Here's how you can make it at home (sans the bread sticks unfortunately).

The Dressing:
*8 oz. Paul Newman's Vinegar and Oil Dressing
*1 clove garlic, minced
*1/2 tsp. dried basil
*1/2 tsp. dried oregano
*3 packets NutraSweet

Add all ingredients into the bottle of dressing. Shake well. Refrigerate 24 hours.


The Salad
*1/2 bunch romaine lettuce, washed and torn
*1/2 head iceberg lettuce, washed and torn
*3 sliced Roma tomatoes
*1 small red onion sliced into thin rings
*1/2 green pepper sliced into thin rings
*1 cup black pitted olives
*1 cup pepperoncini salad peppers

Mix together and pour enough dressing to coat. Top with fresh Parmesan cheese and croutons. It works for us.
