So I got a call.
Odds of all odds, I somehow won the National Geographic amateur photo contest with this photo I shot of Mt. McKinley.
Not ONLY did I win all new Canon 1D equipment, $5000 in cash, but I also won the opportunity to experience an African safari photo shoot with their crew and one of my photos will grace the cover of the August edition.
Uh-huh. That's right.
Then the alarm went off. I made breakfast. Changed a diaper. Started the laundry. Cleaned up dog poop. Changed the litter. Cursed the dream and resumed my otherwise glamorous lifestyle.
This is what happens when you watch The Secret Life of Soccer Moms. Stay away.

Okay, you had me going the whole time, I had to read it twic. My mouth actually dropped open only to end with my head shaking. VERY clever and that shot actually IS worthy!
AND I should add - I recently fantastized about me and ice cream in my dreams, ate one entire gallon in one sitting. Need I say more. :)

Oh man! You had me for a minute there.
Last night I had a dream about crazy, half-bred dogs with glowing eyes and a voracious appetite for human flesh. I was quite happy to wake up.
dude. it wasn't even april fools, but you totally had me going! that picture SHOULD win something!
Before I even got to the end of the post I called my husband over to tell him that I *knew* someone that was famous!
Oh well, it may have all been a dream but that photo is fabulous!
This is a gorgeous photo, and you really had me going there for a minute... it's an excellent dream!
I do have dreams that seem so real like that. I wake up wanting it to be real! Like when I dreamed I was pregnant.

I had a dream that I won the Dream House (HGTV), complete with furnishings, new car, and cash to pay the taxes. And as I toured my new home, all I could think of was "the kids will destroy that" and "bet that shows fingerprints". Ugh, stupid reality.

Some of the brackets loosened and fell off my teeth, and I had to track down my dentist in the middle of the night to come to the office and fix my braces.
