Baby Spidey. Sounds like Gracie. She was climbing trees at about that age. Watch out, the other day she told me that two of her "most favoritest things ever" are fast and high. It scared me a little...
I did not know about the spider man phase! But I'm sure he must be really enjoying himself. In some years when he'll be a spiderman fan, you could tell him that he was doing those stunts himself at only 19 months.
I've never had a climber. Perhaps one of those crib tents would help. ?? Good luck! ;) Are you flooding around there? Luckily we have had a slow thaw, so no flooding. Have a great weekend!
Nice pic of the gushing water. Scaling cribs and walls, huh? Don't worry... phase will end soon. Then it will be climbing, running, and jumping all over the place.
I think my 21 month old is just now in that phase, except for the climbing out of the crib part, thank God. Actually, she's a little backwards. Before her nap she's usually trying to climb IN her crib. I haven't told her that most kids her age are doing it the other way around! Good luck!
In my house, the climbing is a preferred method of ambulation. Sorry. Maybe by the time he's in college? So that he doesn't embarrass himself in front of the girls?
I hope it's not really flooding, just some big puddles to splash around in. :)
Thanks for the nice comment on my collage. That's a good thought about printing. I made that just for web posting and would have to go back and chance my resolution to print, but I bet you're right it would look pretty on paper.
Um,..unfortunately, with boys the Spider Man phase really never ends! Once they learn to walk they're quest for the next highest mountain continues for a lifetime! :o)
I think he's just a boy -- my son started that climbing thing pretty much as soon as he learned to walk and hasn't stopped (he's nearly 3). The other day I found him on top of the refrigerator. Yay. I'm considering buying a helmet.
I'm a month behind you with Hailey, so if you could please let me know when this climbing phase ends, I'd appreciate it. My heart can't take much more.
LOL! My son is the same age and is also going through that phase. Maybe all little boys will do similar things.....at least then I'll be able to see how other moms deal with it.
I just supervise the climbing for now.....nothing too dangerous so I don't want to curb him.
Oh dear! I am right there with you. My son just turned 2! He could climb before walking and never sits still for a second. If strapped in, he screams the most high pitch deafening scream! My daughter was so much easier.
My kids have been in a "phase" ever since they were born.
My gosh, another beautiful picture! I love the feathery look of the water. And I now need to go to the bathroom.
Baby Spidey, huh? Yep, I know that feeling!
sounds like our boys are right on the same track! We will need to compare notes in 13 years!
By the way.. I bought the charity single for my IPOD too. I love it!

The picture is STUNNING.

I'm fairly certain that phase ends at age 35. :) LOVE the shot.
I will concur with the other commenters. I think the phase ends at 35 and now I need to use the bathroom! LOL!
I have a Spider Girl to match your Spiderman. =)
My 18 month old daughter is in the spiderman phase. She is way worse than her brother ever was. It is seriously scary.
Now spring is on it's way you will be able to take that Spiderman son of yours outside to play - that would be good!!
Have a good Friday - see you soon - Kellan

Have a great weekend!
That picture is absolutely beautiful. I don't know when kids grow out of that phase, but I know how you feel. :)
my sister-in-law was apparently like that as a child. scaled the brick fireplace before she could walk!
hasn't ended yet.
they are three and four years old.
sorry, I'm no help!
love the water fall shot!
You know you have a boy, right? This phase doesn't end. Ever. They are always monkeys.
Your pkg will be at your door on Monday.
Nice pic of the gushing water. Scaling cribs and walls, huh? Don't worry... phase will end soon. Then it will be climbing, running, and jumping all over the place.
Love the picture.
Yep 35 sounds about right!!
and repeat after me, 'No, we don't climb on tables'... but it's so much fun!
UNBELIEVABLE. Holy Moly!
Heidi
What a picture!
I have a Spiderman in training. He is climbing on tables and flipped over baskets, etc. Boys! *sigh*
I think my 21 month old is just now in that phase, except for the climbing out of the crib part, thank God. Actually, she's a little backwards. Before her nap she's usually trying to climb IN her crib. I haven't told her that most kids her age are doing it the other way around! Good luck!
my girl was my climber, too. little miss dare devil!!
and yea for spring!!
Both of these are grand. Spider Baby makes me laugh. The awakening of Spring is awesome.
My Emma is the same way. She calls herself a "real live monkey".
Great photo of the water. It's beautiful!
Love the picture. Spidey baby is perfect!
Love the Haiku. REALLY LOVE the photo with it!! Talent you have.
He'll be past this phase before you know it...really.
A climbing phase?
In my house, the climbing is a preferred method of ambulation. Sorry. Maybe by the time he's in college? So that he doesn't embarrass himself in front of the girls?
That is an amazing photo! Happy Friday!
He's a boy: the climbing will never stop.
Love that picture!
I hope it's not really flooding, just some big puddles to splash around in. :)

Yay! Spring, bring it on. I am looking forward to the warm sun.
I am wondering when that stage will end with Monkey.
Yes I live in the SE part in the lovely big city. :)
Um,..unfortunately, with boys the Spider Man phase really never ends! Once they learn to walk they're quest for the next highest mountain continues for a lifetime! :o)
Lizzy
I have a jumping bean to go along with your spider man. She simply cannot stand still....always jumping.
Nice! Maybe next week I'll try the Haiku thing...
I like the photos :D
Climbing walls? Methought
that's what parents did, not kids!
Good luck with this phase ;--)
I do hope the floods
don't do any damage ... How
strange our weather's been!
I've got two Haiku
posts on Tennis ... Men's Upate
and a Women's Too
Hugs and blessings,
It never ends. In fact it gets worse as they grow and become more dextrous. My son is almost five now, and no amount of childproofing will hold him.
congrats! I gave birth to Fingers Freddie! gaah she's everywhere LOL
have a wonderful weekend!
Spiderman, Spiderman...
And awesome picture of the water!
My son is not a climber, but my 11 month old daughter looks to be the exact opposite. Hold me.
Wow, beautiful picture! Loved the haiku, too.
love the picture. love the haiku! love the mental picture of your little spiderman
I haven't been here in awhile, but you are wonderful. And apparently spidey is, too.
Beautiful photo. :)
It gives the "itsy bitsy spider" a whole new meaning!
I think he's just a boy -- my son started that climbing thing pretty much as soon as he learned to walk and hasn't stopped (he's nearly 3). The other day I found him on top of the refrigerator. Yay. I'm considering buying a helmet.
I just love that shot and since I only have girls I have no clue - mine do NOT climb. YET. ;)
I'm a month behind you with Hailey, so if you could please let me know when this climbing phase ends, I'd appreciate it. My heart can't take much more.
Now I have the Spider Man theme in my head.
Beautiful shot! Gorgeous!
Mom Bomb nailed the description - feathery look of the water. Almost like an icy cold drink...excuse me gotta go.
But, not before I say...stand STRONG MamaGeek, for in a year or so more...he'll be scaling BIGGER things.
LOL! My son is the same age and is also going through that phase. Maybe all little boys will do similar things.....at least then I'll be able to see how other moms deal with it.
I just supervise the climbing for now.....nothing too dangerous so I don't want to curb him.
I heard there was a new spiderman somewhere. :)
One of my kids went through this phase. I'm happy to say he outgrew it. :)
Beautiful photo! Have a fabulous weekend!
blessings,
kari & kijsa
Toddler unleashed, nature unleashed.
Both beautiful (albeit occasionally) messy things!
Have fun!
Beautiful photo and charming haiku! Boys are always climbing something, somewhere, somehow! :)
I know that stage...it get even more better when they start jumping from where they have crawled.
Happy weekend.
Ahhh... they joys of toddlerhood.
and
Wow! What an amazing photo!
Haha! I'm so very lucky that my children haven't yet entered this Spiderman phase of their childhood. Here's hoping they never do ;)
Oh dear! I am right there with you. My son just turned 2! He could climb before walking and never sits still for a second. If strapped in, he screams the most high pitch deafening scream! My daughter was so much easier.
Ummm, never. Just keep your bag packed for Urgent Care. There's a reason why my youngest son's moniker is "Danger Boy."
