We leave for vacation in a few days so I've been consumed with last minute details. Including, a-hem, in-law proofing our home since they'll be pet-sitting.
Insert a sigh here. Another one here. And one more right here.
Soon I will be infused with sunshine, shooting something other than white on snow and leaving reality in the rearview.
The first person to correctly identify these shots gets to come along on vacation; all expenses paid*. Shweet.
*provided, of course, you fit in my backpack.
And please don't anybody post, so I don't get behind thankyouverymuch.

The first picture is a carnation and the second is a silve candle stick holder - I'll be packed by mid morning!! You lucky dog!!! I can't wait to see the pictures - they are sure to be fabulous!!

Hmm, some sort of orangy flower (who's name escapes me - even if I knew it) with squiggly things sticking out of it calling for all the bees in the neighborhood to come visit your house while you're on vacation. It's probably much warmer in your house then in theirs.
And the other one is some sort of facet handle that you are hoping the in-laws won't leave in the on position flooding you out of house and home.
As for posting, well I'm spotty anyway!

We just did the in-law proofing thing. Annoying isn't it? My husband is all like "If they snoop then they deserve what they find." But, I'd rather they not find my high school diary and know that I spent more time writing "I heart Joe (or whoever at the time)" than doing homework. I also live in dread of them looking over our financial papers. While I think we're going great- my hubby's parents are Major tightwads and don't need to know how much I spend at the beauty parlor once every three months.
How fun! You better have a blast on vacation.. sounds like the little one will be joinging you? Can't wait to see the pcitures... as for these pics?

The second is the urn you bought and keep hidden away to store your in-laws on some future date. Their names are already engraved on it and everything, and you're trying to figure out where to hide it from them.
