And yet the flower still looks beautiful! Hooray! The predicted snow completely missed us. Not one flake! Weehoo! How about you? Did you get any snow? I hope not. Yeah for spring!
Yesterday, we learned how to ride our tricycles and found the beginningsof our tulips in 50 degree weather. Today, we got 4 inches of snow. And it's still snowing!!
Stupid cats. Why must they always eat the pretty flowers and further more if they are going to eat them the least they could do would be keep 'em down! *
Love the cat yukking part. Maybe it'll learn and won't eat the flowers next time. Wait, stop. We're talking about a cat here right? You'll be flowerless for a while!
Well, if that haiku doesn't say, "Happy Spring" then I don't know what does. ; )
Cat yakking **shudder**
They sound like they're coughing up an organ or something don't they???
FLOWERS?? It's about time!
Freakin' cats. They eat everything and then hack it up. I don't clean up cat puke unless my husband is at work. Nasty!
BTW, the Wii did arrive! Haven't set it up yet: tomorrow.
not much worse than barf
of a silly little cat.
get some Febreeze now
Pretty! I'm so excited. The flowers are budding! It was over 50 today. Over 60 tomorrow. Yippppeeee!!!
Damn cat! ;)
And flowers? Very nice! You have Sam give David a call and explain how that works now, m'kay?
It's a little early (seeing as how it's Thursday night and all), but I'm guessing this is going to be my fave of the day.
Hilarious! For us.
lol. That was a great one!
And yet the flower still looks beautiful!

Yeah for spring!
OF COURSE it's the cat. It's always the cat. I love that macro shot - very pretty.
I don't think I ever knew your hubby's name. And, for all the late nights he pulls, you deserve more than flowers.
You are in my Haiku this week. Check out why.
The cat ate the flowers? Boy, it must be really hungry or the flowers looked too yummy!
I always love your Haiku Fridays!
Today's were especially...vivid :)
Great haiku, Great photo! Ugh to the cat yakking. The word even makes me cringe!
Ha! Cats!
Yesterday, we learned how to ride our tricycles and found the beginningsof our tulips in 50 degree weather. Today, we got 4 inches of snow. And it's still snowing!!
Grrr!
I can not believe YOUR dog would do that. Nope. Beautiful flower though.
Why did I not know you had a cat? I knew Pup, why did I not know kitty?
ha ha ha ha!! this is why cat I have not!
cat yak .... is that the new harbinger of spring???
I love the photo. Is that flower one that escaped the naughty kitty?
That dog!!
Those flowers...*sigh*
Dang that cat!
OMG that photo just made me so happy!
looks like spring has made it!!
Oh no, poor cat...poor mommy, too.
Gorgeous shot!
Happy weekend,
Heidi
I love that flower!! The haiku is great, too.
Nothing says "I love you" like cat puke. But I guess it may have at least been colorful puke.
Yay for the snow melting and Spring coming!
Ewww...that kind of sucks about the cat. Hopefully it learned it's lesson!
Yeah, Spring!
Which is why I am thankful I do not have dogs or cats. :-)
funny! great job: )
I can't believe the cat! Must of thought it was cat nip. ;)

I was all "awwwww, flowers" and then "eeuurrggghh.. dog puke."
Sorry. Cat puke. Just as bad.
Stupid cats. Why must they always eat the pretty flowers and further more if they are going to eat them the least they could do would be keep 'em down! *
That was a roller coaster of emotions right there!
Cat Yack - not my favorite. But flowers are pretty! ; )
Happy Spring time!
Cat yak. I'm very burned out on cats. Ours pee. I prefer yak. Although neither would be better.
LOL!!! Well happy spring to you as well!!
blessings,
kari & kijsa
The cat ate the flowers...ugh. And then the yakking, double ugh. But at least you got flowers!
Yes. Mud season is going to be long and particularly messy this year.
Okay, it happens but they're worth it. Right? Right. I love that dew drop on the flower too. Purdy!
You make me laugh! No one I know could make haikuing as cool as you do (did I make up a word?)!!!
And that picture is STuNNiNG!
Ahh, the joys of Spring!
Seeing as I have nothing but mud for a yard, I sympathize. Truly.
Have a Schlitz on me!
I love your haiku. always. snow here melting as well... again... oh no wait... it will snow again tomorrow.
That is one El Exquisito shot.
Regarding Matchbox cars - I should get together with your husband and your son!!
Oh, blech!
Love the cat yukking part. Maybe it'll learn and won't eat the flowers next time. Wait, stop. We're talking about a cat here right? You'll be flowerless for a while!
LOL- we just adopted a new cat. They should have stated on her bio "Female, spayed, about 4 years old, affectionate, yakker, farter."
I have to say, however, she fits right in with the rest of us!
:) Cat yakking, yuck! Flowers- aw! :) Dog bringing in mud? Ugh.
Have a great weekend! :)
Loved your haiku!
Cat yaks at our house, too. Severe food allergies. Must eat ground turkey only. Although seems to be able to steal pizzas off counters and not yak.
Wow! Flowers? The last time someone brough flowers home at my house was...... well... nevermind, it's been so long I can't remember when it was :(
That damn cat. Don't you just love animals. Really, they are just babies themselves.
yay for spring...finally!!!
i have my computer back...i'll be regularly visiting you again!!! yay!
xoxo
Props to you for the great haiku mix of beautiful flowers and cat yakking.
ha ha ha ha ha
:)
and... ew. sorry.
My daughter does a spot on imitation of our cat yakking! It's hilarious. (Maybe I'll put her on YouTube!) NOT!
Spring's here - well, at your side of the globe. :-)
Oh. My. Word. Cat yak? Eeewwww...
Nice haiku!! :D
It's the thought that counts, right?
Beautiful photo, btw...
You're too funny! Pretty flower! Silly dog and cat!
