If The Shoe Fits
The first time I went clothes shopping after our son was born, I vividly recall wondering where the boys section was?
There were 32 flavors of pink ensembles and only 3 dark blue outfits sporting an optional truck and/or ball logo.
So when I do find something really adorable (translation - something unisex that he undoubtedly will deny in a few years) I, of course, buy it while I still can. I KNOW my remaining wardrobe selection time is limited at best.

Case and point.

Oh, those are TOO cute! Where in the world did you find those?
Those are too cute. I almost got the same ones for my son at Target. I didn't get them though, not because they aren't cute-- I love them, but because I would've had to buy him a rain suit and other accessories, and ones for my daughter too. lol.
cute cute cute!!! And YES there is no justice in the cute boys department :( After waiting sooooo long to be a mommy, the stores should at least grant us some shopping love!
Oh. My. Gosh! Those are THE cutest things I have ever seen!
I have two girls...and yes...there are TONS of cute clothes. But there is a trade off...I have a small fortune in gymboree clothes to my name, and somehow I think you have invested your cash in something a little more worthwhile :-)
I can't decide what I like better the boots or the shot. And right on about the boys clothing. It's a conspiracy!!! And drives me nuts.
These are fantastic!
I want some!!
So cute!
Where where where did you get those - they are AWESOME!
You can't find cute boys stuff? Hon, I can give you the hook up. We have similar boots. Mine LOVES them.
Would life not be better if we could ALL just wear stuff like this? No fancy shoes with pointy toes and high heels. No designer blouses. No low rise jeans.
Just fun, simple. Oh, and with cute googly eyes, of course!
Oh yeah! Harrison would wear those - right now. Way too cute! If I tell he's handsome in something right now, he checks himself out in the mirror and then beams with pride.
Those are SO DANG CUTE!!! I love being in charge of dressing JJ. I often think about how oblivious he is now.. and how that will change in no time!
Awww... I remember those days! I was just informed that we won't be needing any of the batman, superman shirts anymore. Time flies ;) and then they want clothes with skulls and flames on them....
Too cute! Have a wonderful Easter Sunday!
blessings,
kari & kijsa
Gasp! Those are too cute! You know, I have always thought that all those little boy clothes are way too precious. But since my boys weren't around until they were teens, I didn't get to shop in that section. Instead I dressed my girls up in lace and doodads as long as I could.
oooooooooooo those are too cute....I want some....right now. tee hee
LOVE them! Those are so cute!
My son has a generic black pair (hand me downs) but they are still a wee little too big.
I would have totally bought them. Send them to me when Bear outgrows them? (:
Those are sooooo cute!!
All of my friends with boys have the same complaint. Why doesn't anyone make cute clothes for boys????
I'd love to secretly own one of those when I was a kid. Sincerely! :D
What cute and weird boots! Where did you find them? I got my boys the cute frog ones from target. I have to say now that I have a girl, the girl clothes do not seem quite as cute as they did when all I had to buy for were the 2 boys.
Oh my gosh, where did you get those??
What flutter said. I want one too! Adorable!
i looked high and low for a pair of these in men's size 10 and a halfs, no dice.
I love giraffes. These are fantastic.
These are soooo cute.
I know exactly what you mean about finding little boy's clothes. Another problem that I've been noticing is that there is an even bigger drop in the selection now that he is 18 months. There seems to be nothing much between this age and age 3. Over here in Indonesian anyway....
Those are excellent boots! Where did you find them? I know what you mean about boys shopping too. The girls department seems to be three times the size of the boys and has twice as many cute outfits.
I am getting better at finding boy clothes. However, it doesn't matter, because if it doesn't have a superhero, a skateboard or some sports theme splattered across it, my boys won't wear it. Giraffe boots? NO WAY would my boys touch them. They are cute, though.
KEEP BELIEVING
Those are adorable!!!!
I always get my undies in a bunch when I go to buy my boys clothes. The girls section is always 10 times the size of the boys and all of the boys clothes have dinosaurs on them. Bah!!!
Target, yes? I wish T would still fit into things like that! Can't you just see the puddle hopping now??
Oh, and the stripey insides! Too cute! Definitely take advantage until he decides that he will only wear one certain shirt, shorts and shoes!
We have some of last year's model from Target ~ they are adorable! My kids haven't worn them once though :( I definitely feel your pain, though, Mama.
And honestly, the cute clothes have been the only lamentation I've had for only birthing boys!
Oh I love those!
Wherever did you find them?
I'm with you on boy's clothes. Why, if it's male, does it automatically have to have a baseball/basketball/some kind of ball on it?
I'm blinded by the extreme cuteness.
I love those boots! Very nice, very nice. And I couldn't agree more. It's so hard to shop for infant boys. But once they hit size 4, they have their own FULL section lol. Until then, it's searching and hunting. I have both, a boy and girl and it's much more fun to shop for my little girl.
Holy crap! Those are the cutest things ever. I am totally digging these designer boots that they have out right now and think I am going to get some to do my gardening in. Much more fashionable than those crocs :) Although I will admit that I wear these too :)
I would wear those: they're adorable! And I totally agree about the whole boy's clothes thing: totally unfair!
Those are adorable! And after raising three boys and now having a grandson, I know just what you mean. There's never enough neat boy clothes.
Freaking. Adorable.
Where did you get those??
Adorable! My son had some that were bugs. We loved them.
OH, the cuteness overwhelms.
Just like the selection for boys underwhelms.
At least we are saving a bundle eh?
Those are too cute! And great shot of them too - I like the angle that you used!
Those are ADORABLE!!!
I have been fighting the urge to buy those boots for a while now. When you take super-spiffy pictures of them, it does not help my self-control. At all. Darn you!
Awww I LOVE THEM!!! And yes I'm totally understanding the whole very little cuteness for boys. I get very excited when I find something super cute.
Haha, love them. Put some mud on em, that'll boy em up!
I share your frustration and I nearly bought these this weekend!!
Those are so cute!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would wear those!
Those are adorable. It's too bad both of my boys are too old -- or think they are, anyway! -- to wear them.
Those are adorable! And yes, the boys selection is terrible!
I have two girls, so I can't account for the boys department...but I am in love with those boots! Too freakin' cute for words!
are those from the Target section of gardening stuff? LOVE them.
I tend to stick to Gap and a few of the Gymboree lines.
Those are great!
Oh, those are ADORABLE!! I kept checking at Target this year and they had frogs, frogs, pink somethings and cammouflage, none of which I liked for BOY. If I had seen these, they would be gone!
I've tagged you for a meme, but I promise it is a cool (SHORT!) one. Please don't come after me...
So cute! It doesn't get any better as they grow--boys clothes seem to get uglier each size up. My son recently graduated from toddler 4T to big boy 4 and apparently all boys are supposed to be skaters sporting torn and frayed seams!
I am so with you on that. I loved having a boy, but longed for a girl simply because of all the cute girl stuff. Boy stuff was one rack shoved in corner, either stripes or stuff with soccer balls appliqued on it. Now that I have one of each I'm suddenly finding it a lot easier to find cute boy stuff. Weird!
hehehe Definitely take advantage while you still can. Too funny - you are adorable.
Hope you're doing well. Happy WW (on Tuesday). Take care *big smack* (been camping and left w/out saying anything. shame on me. now, i'm going back :)
I wish they made them for adults too. i haven't seen any such things in our Canadian stores. how adorable.
Adorable!!!
Funny thing is, though, I was DYING to clothes shop for my daughter and I can't ever find anything cute...all the boy stuff is cuter.
Those shoes are fabu! Oh so stylish. :)
Hah.. I love them.. I want to get some for my nephew... heck, I want a pair for myself!
Love it.

Cute cute cute!!
Is it wrong that I sorta want these for myself?
Dang? Do they come in women's 8 1/2 ?
These are truly great. And you can hand-them-down to nieces or nephews. Genius. And dang cute!
They are A D O R A B L E!!! Which reminds me.....I should blog about the rest of my rainboot story!
DID YOU GET THESE at Target? I swear ours had them at one point and they are all out! VERY cute!
Oh, I want those and Dangit-- Target won't ship to military!!!
absolutely adorable!!! I've never seen anything with whose "ears" to help put the boots on around:( I bet my princess would love to have such "giraffes" too:))))
