Altitude Is Everything
Ah, vacation. It does a body good.
We flew into Las Vegas and drove to Southern Arizona / California. 92°
and sunny. Everyday. Do you South-west friends know how good you have it?
The 4 hour plane ride I feared? Cake. Not one whine, scream or shriek.
My wild oats have officially become shredded wheat. Instead of dare-devil excursions, we hiked, rafted the Colorado and slammed Margaritas over sunsets.
A quiet riot.
I shot 2 frazillion photos, so my camera and I are tired. But I can't wait to get ketchup with you. Anybody pregnant? Getting hitched? Out-wit the in-laws?
The talented Amy graciously gave me some love.
I'm paying it forward to Melissa & Tommie because they always rawk AND guessed my macro shots correctly.
Now go. Plan a vacation.

No exciting news here. We are still married. I'm not pregnant.

Okay, I'm LOVING your flickr shots. Those are downright professional and beautiful. Simply wow. I'm glad your back, I actually smiled when I saw you posted.
We really don't do vacations anymore....spending the summer at our cottage on the lake and travelling weekends in the RV is going to be all the vacation we get anymore! It's kind of exciting though...as we will be seeing things we haven't experienced before. So glad you had an enjoyable vacation and what a terrific picture! Sunshine does the body good...doesn't it??

Ah! The sun and Margaritas, nothing better to cheer one up! Looks like it was awesome. I wanna go on holidays too. My next one is in July most probably, gotta wait till then.

Oh, I am so jealous! That sounds wonderful. I read in our paper about "staycations" Those are where you stay home and don't go anywhere, but don't make any big plans either. Those sound appealing to me too :)

I had just decided that life is a vacation, but the only vacation spots we see these days are Doctor's waiting rooms...with out of date magazines...so it's always a thrill to leave and watch the landscapes as we head home. I just noticed you cleverly linked me in the "southwest" group of luckies. Yes, I s'pose I sort of know how good I have it, but living amonst sand, cacti, rocks and no flowers or water is not exactly what I would choose if I had given another chance... I'm just say'n.
Fotos are incredible. Can you stop over and give me some lessons on my Nikon D80? The auto button isn't work'n for me too much. Fav is of the waterfall - spec. tac. ular.
After 10 years in Vegas, the heat and dust lost much of it's charm. Now I live on Oahu. I have whole new set of beauty to become jaded over. ;)

We are heading out this next weekend for a 3 day on the beach in Ft. Myers (yes we live in Ft. Lauderdale, but beach people try other beaches on their vacations), and then 6 days in Orlando hanging with the kids at Universal Studios! Can't wait!
