I really enjoy the pink m&m's we can get during Feb! That's a great shot for B&W.
Are you going to get the one from Papa John's??
I don't know if you know, but we order pizza EVERY Friday....we used to get Papa John's until I discovered Papa Murphy's.
And, for the 5th time today, Blogger does not take my comment. HMMMM.
I said you got it right. In a nutshell (or peanut m&ms) that's how it works for everyone BC and AD (before child & after destruction).
That sounds about right!
We used to make reservations at fancy shmancy restaurants before kids.
Now we get takeout.
Pizza..... mmmmmmmm
sounds like a good V-Day to me!
What's worse is what happens after the meal.
BC: So you wanna'...you know?
AD: So you wanna'....go to sleep?
M&M's sound ideal to me.
your after children dinner...that sounds so familiar!!
xo
that sounds perfect to me!!
Lol.
I went on line today to get my bank balance and noticed on our Visa that a charge has gone through from the local florist. All I can say is that I had better be getting flowers tomorrow..... :)
And they cost WAY too much on V day. But I'll take them. M and M's would be good too though.
Heck, it was pizza and m&m's BEFORE the kids came along. :)
I vote for option 2.
I like your heart shaped m&m pizza plate. Works for me!
I am so over Valentines Day until my kids are out of the house. Suddenly this holiday has become about THEM! WTF?!?! EVERY DAY is about them!
KEEP BELIEVIN
Oh that is so true! We'll be celebtrating together at home with our toddler rather than having dinner in a fancy restuarant. Ahhh- but life is good.
This is my life. Only without pizza. And M&M's. :) Hilarious.
*sigh* Sounds disappointingly familiar.
4-Sure!!! I don't think I would have even remember it was Valentine's Day if I hadn't been pressured all week long to help with those da** Valentine's boxes and cute little cards my kids have been decorating and addressing for school (or that I have been decorating and adressing for school)!!!!! Have a good one - see you soon. Kellan
BTW - We need to get together - all us moms and write a book with the titel BC/AD - we could go on chapter after chapter to fill that book - couldn't we?
ok, how about all I see are delicious delicious carbs?
It still LOVE for me...
And PIZZA is love (for me)!
Hey, you can't beat heart shaped pizza...
Honestly, I don't care what's for dinner as long as he makes me these "gooey chocolate puddings" for dessert. Heck, I'll take them for dinner. He's always saying how easy they are to make...time to prove it, Buddy!
Sounds GREAT!!!!
Happy Valentine's Day!!
Linda
amen to that...I always knew there was a reason I liked M & M's. :)
Well ya know I must be super boring or super broke cause #2 sounds like a winner to me! Alright ya dragged it outta me I'm a boring, broke mama....awww life.
Yup, that pretty much sums it up!
Heidi :)
Kids do change everything, don't they?
Oh, sister, you have nailed it. NAILED it.
We tried to go eat out last night with both kids and The Conqueror had to be held, coddled and kept from getting down. He cried, shouted and threw food. He's 13 months. We were eating with my family and I said, "not ever doing this again until he is 4."
BC and AD, indeed. In the words of a smart gal I know, *le sigh*.
I hear ya on this one!! Our date night plans... kids eat and go to bed early (stop laughing) and then Hubby and I eat a nice meal together and veg...all lazy like (ok, I said stop laughing)I have no idea what we are eating yet, I was hoping for a nice steak dinner, but the grill has about 3 feet of snow on it! Anyways, have a wonderful Valentine's Day!
You got dinner beforehand?? Daaaaang, I got jipped.
Love love love you! Happy Valentine's Day! Like AFF's version too.
Where do you get a heart shaped pizza? I want, I want! LOL. :) Happy Heart Day.
YOU are my hero. THAT should be a bumper sticker.
Yep...I'm stopping by Papa Murphy's on the way home to grab two heart pizza's. Sigh.
I'm ashamed to admit how many Hershey kisses I already consumed helping my kids prepare their valentines last night.
Yep. That sounds about right. I'm off to buy myself some flowers right now. :(
Damn Valentine's day.
Both of those ideas sound great to me!
Happy Valentines!
perfect. I am so there.
You are so right. Having children changes everything.
too funny... but oh so true!
Where are you finding these lovely grayscale M&M's? So chic! So urban!
And Happy Valentine's Day. Heart pizza solidarity, baby.
Yeah. Did ya' see the note on my blog today? That's it. All I got him.
He got me a card. Two days ago.
I knew you would come up with something that is funny. I'm not celebrating - My M&M is away on business. Enjoy yours and I'll enjoy mine - when he gets home.
Ha! Is it a Papa Murphy's pizza? We made our own last year and the kids loved it.
Still don't know what we are doing this year. BC- I would have had this all thought out. After kids- all I care about is the booze ;)
Tee hee :)
I'll be lucky to get a card this year.
Sigh.
You did it again..perfectly stated!!
ah...so true!!
You got that right, sistah!
Ten years ago Honey took me to a quaint European Bistro for dinner and proposed. Tonight we won't even be eating dinner together because he'll be playing soccer. It's just going to be Princess, me and our pile of dark chocolate M&Ms. More for us!
You're so right. Having a baby totally changes the romance in the relationship, at least for a while.
Mmmm.. M&M's...
MMMM...heart shaped pizza.
I have such a weakness for m&ms, you have no idea.
The crazy thing is that now that I have kids I would -rather- stay home and eat a heart shaped pizza.
I would MUCH prefer the heart-shaped pizza myself.
haha.. so true.
Pizza and M&Ms work for me!
Yup sounds about right!
Happy Valentine's Day!
I was going to write on this topic today, but had the special incident with the old woman in the store. So...maybe tomorrow. Yes, MY how Valentine's day has changed! Hope you enjoyed those M&M's!
We got a heart shaped pizza too. And a big heart shaped brownie to share. And no alone time. It was fun anyway.
So true. Infact I'm celebrating Valentine's too often now -with M&Ms. Heheh.
ha ha.
my hubby often ignores valentines day. but yesterday he bought me tulips. like he did before we were married. I was thrilled.
Heart shaped pizza!!!! I want one!
and m&m's.
Damnit woman!
So true! =) Although I think we have incorporated all the BC activities this week, PB (post-bedtime)!
Lotus and I had the heart shaped pizza and some chocolate - it was great!
Bahahahaha . . . can totally relate.
Thanks for contributing this post to this week's Carnival of Family Life, hosted at Modern Sage -- Practical Living Blog. The Carnival will be live tomorrow, so please stop by and peruse all of the wonderful articles submitted this week!
Staying in and ordering a pie is the BEST way to go on V-Day!!!
That's my opinion anyway...
I've always preferred this to going out, even before kids.
Omg that's hillarious!!
You can still do the candle lit dinners though ... just with a child around lol.
