Tired already - me too and I don't even have two parties. I'm sure you'll have a blast and if you are hosting - so will all your guests. Have fun. See ya. Kellan
BTW - thanks about my site - I'm so much more happy with it and Lyndsay at Splat did a great job - I'm glad I found her because I have no clue how to do any of that stuff! Thanks again.
But seriously, get as much done beforehand as possible, and don't stress if things don't go as planned. It just adds to the character of the evening. If food and friends were that hard, no one would ever have either.
LOL! You're so cute. Great haiku. You'll have a blast at the parties, you'll get everything done and then you'll miss the craziness when it's said and done, right?
I used to read the book Skipping Christmas every year. Now I don't read much other than toddler books. But- isn't that a great idea? Skip all the fuss and take a cruise!
Ahh, I always look forward to the holiday season and then, when I realise all the work that I have to do, it sort of make me think if that's really a holiday for me! ;)
You must be the hostess with the mostest! Two parties you're hosting?? I bow down. I just got back from a party and it was fun to be out at someone else's house. I'm sure your guests will feel the same. Hopefully, you'll chill on Monday. Well...chill while taking care of your family. Ha!
Take 5!! Watch a funny video, make yourself a mojito, close your eyes sip and sit in silence (even if for 5 minutes) -- then think it's just the Holidays hope all went well!
Take a breather, sip a little wine and all will be fine.....oh wait, that is what I do! enjoy, they really do just want to see you.
His eyebrows are a hoot!
I LOVE that movie. Wouldn't a vacation be nice - yep, but it wouldn't be Christmas without all the work, right? :)

hope the parties went OK. Thanks for stopping by my blog!
Hope you can relax and enjoy -- good luck!
Two parties, one weekend. What were you thinking? Good luck, I hope you can still manage to have fun.

The Kranks pic is creepin' me out!
I am glad we don't have to bother with all this Christmas stuff :)

How'd you get volunteered for that?? Ugh. Good luck. Play Julia Child ala SNL. Partake of the cooking wines.
When in doubt, wine :-)

2 parties?! You are a brave woman!
I agree. Wine is essential. So are plastic utensils/cups/plates. :) Have fun!
Good luck with all your prepwork. We demolished our bathroom, great excuse to have all the parties elsewhere. Works for me.
Have a great weekend!
Well you are a brave little elf- aren't you?! Good luck on all your merry-making...let us know what a huge success it is!

Very funny! You should just make yourself a guest at all times. Never a hostess! Very brave woman.

have a great day!
Remember, wrinkles aren't part of the budget. Have fun and good luck! :D
Cute Haiku! I didn't see the movie, but I read the book it was based on!
I don't even want to think about all the stuff I have to do. But, seeing that movie is now on the list!

Don't overdo it! Try to find some time to enjoy yourself, too! (Easier said than done, I know.)
