Oh, I so agree. And, I'm very proud of you guys for helping the poor doggies. Can you leave without coming home with one? I don't think I could...

Our local WalMart has a box where you can donate food, etc. I do it there because I CANNOT go into a shelter. I am afraid I would adopt them ALL! Great ku!

i can't go into anyplace...i'll bring home every stinking animal! well, in particular, cats. but...some dogs, too!

It's really great to see people donating to animal shelters. I wish we had something, anything to give our local SPCA this year.

So good of you to donate food. We have helped the Golden Rescue before, interviewing people wanting to adopt and taking rescued dogs to their new homes.
It's heartbreaking to know a dog like that needs a home!

Did you take him home with you? I miss having a dog and he sure is cute.
My husband would divorce me, though, and since I'm not working I guess we'll remain a three cat, no dog household.
But just wait until Punkin starts begging for a puppy. Hubby may be able to tell me no, but Punkin? Never.
It's so hard to go and see all the sad doggies.

We take food to our no kill shelter and I have to look away every time.
In our search for our mutton head, we went to many a shelter. Heartbreaking always.
