Removing Ink Stains
If you wear a pocket protector, this tip is completely useless to you, I know.
To remove ink stains from clothing, simply either put milk on the stain or soak the clothing in milk overnight. Launder as normal the next day. And voila, the ink spot is gone.
It works for me.

Really? I'm going to have to try this...
Wow! Amazing. Any science majors out there know why this works?
Will it work on sharpie marker on a wood table? I just can't get it off and I don't want to ruin the finish either.
Hmmmm that sounds rather interesting lol. Figure out how to remove black pen from a pale brown (almost cream coloured) leather couch and I'll send you some flowers!!
Are you serious? That's IT? I have the cutest jumper for my baby that is covered in pen. I would love to salvage it! Thank you so much,
Martie
milk? WOW -- I never would've guessed it.
thanks for the tip!
Does it matter if it's 2%, whole or nonfat?
Where do you find these golden nuggets of genius? It just so happens that the P-dog is practically a living, breathing, ink stain, so this advice comes in really, really handy for me!
Wwwhat! I would have never guessed milk would do the trick! Good to know.
I'm going to have to give it a try! Such an easy solution.
Thanks for sharing this tip! Very useful in our household! :)
Wow! I have never heard this. Does it work on old stains, too?
Ooooh I will have to try this. The husband has a few pieces of clothing that are inked.
Thanks for the great advice Love your blog!! Have a great Day!!
When I first read this, I had my suspicious... Well, my son sat on a pen last night and it left a giant stain on his tiny shorts. I was about to toss them in the donate pile, when I remembered your tip.
I did exactly as you told me to and Voila! STAIN IS GONE!
It worked. It really worked. I will never doubt you ever again! Thanks for a great tip that really, really works!
