ReplyDeleteGreen cola? Doesn't sound appealing to this Coca Cola addict! ;-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my Yeats TT!
Yuck about the cockroach! Very interesting TT :)
ReplyDeleteThat's hilarious! I didn't try #12.. but I'll try later... :)
ReplyDeleteHappy TT!
Cockroaches and similar insects have their brains down by their knees. I learned that from my son's bug book.
ReplyDeleteHappy TT and thanks for stopping by.
I'm so glad coke isn't green. Ewwwww.
ReplyDeleteI already knew I couldn't lick my elbow so I got away without trying that one.
When I am very rich I will be able ot pay someone to lick my elbow for me!
ReplyDeleteI love lists like this one. Peanuts in dynamite... who knew? I would love to see Gene Simmons attempt #12.
ReplyDeleteLove #4. Who knew? And I would have tried #12 if I hadn't first read #13.
ReplyDeleteHow fun... how did you find out about Kermit?
ReplyDeleteAnd yes I tried to lick my elbow
More people are alive today than have ever died? Are you sure - that doesn't sound possible. I also don't like the idea that we share DNA with lettuce, while I did suspect as much about men. This was really interesting - thanks! And the roach thing ...
ReplyDeleteYes. I did attempt 12. And then I read 13. ;)
ReplyDeleteThese were fun. Thanks for stopping over my way!
Aww, hell. I need a mirror to SEE my elbow!
ReplyDeleteCoke was green? Really? Eew.
Happy TT!
dang, I licked!! Or tired to lick, then promptly thought of about 3 people in my yoga class that can probably do this. I'll have to ask tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteI did a TT this week...
I'm counting my blinks but not licking my elbow. :)
ReplyDeleteTotally tried to lick elbow before reading the last one. Ha. *sheepish*
ReplyDeleteI wonder if the cocaine in Coke made it green?
Your body functions stop when you sneeze?!? Yikes! That's frightening!
ReplyDeleteI wonder if life expectancy is shortened in proportion to the amount of sneezes one performs during a life time.
I didn't try to lick my elbow, but only because I've heard that before. That time, I did try. It didn't work!
ReplyDeleteHappy TT!
#5 kind of weirds me out.
ReplyDeleteThis is a cool T-13! I played this week, too.
Ok, so I thought about licking my elbow. LOL. But, I didn't.
ReplyDeleteAnd, (I can't remember which number it is) but the one about sneezing? That is why they say "Bless you" after you sneeze, because you are still alive! LOL. That's what I've always heard anyway.
I've lived my entire life without my head -- sort of. And I'm really close on the elbow thing -- like an inch away.
ReplyDeleteNow how do they know Kermit is left handed?? lol...and I wonder why Jack was so popular?? Fun list...Happy TT and thanks for stopping by.
ReplyDeleteDang, I was hoping to be in the 30% successful range... Oh well... I'm pretty sure at least one of those is pretty absurdly false, but they were fun to read! :P Happy TT13
ReplyDeleteI like being in the majority.
ReplyDeleteGreat post!
The lettuce thing is humbling. I didn't know all body functions stop with a sneeze. I guess we'd blow all our gaskets if they didn't!
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed this. Thanks.
awesome TT!!!! You made me smile!!! :)
ReplyDeleteI didn't try to lick my elbow--so there!
ReplyDeleteGreat list.
#6 explains alot ;-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting!
Cool info!!
ReplyDeleteHa, these are great!! Happy TT and thanks for visiting my blog.
ReplyDeleteif i had not been eating a banana I totally would have tried to lick my elbow. Just before the banana I ate some peanuts. Must be why I am so DYNAMITE! wow, that was cheesy.
ReplyDeleteAfter seeing my husband lie around and watch TV, I am unsurprised by the lettuce connection. Great list!
ReplyDeleteWhat? Say it isn't so...My beverage was green!?!
ReplyDeleteBTW, I just tried to lick my elbow...unsuccessful;)
ReplyDeleteYes I tried to lick my elbow. Don't tell anyone though.;)
ReplyDeleteHappy TT!
Yes I tried to lick my elbow. Don't tell anyone though.;)
ReplyDeleteHappy TT!
Boy, I think of the Paris Catacombs and simply cannot believe there are more people alive today than ever dead. What a great list!
ReplyDeleteHappy TT. (Didn't try to lick my elbow - yet! ;)
Interesting facts. I almost licked my elbow. :-)
ReplyDeleteI loved these. They were great and I love these types of things. Anyway, you made it to my #1 spot for my TT. I will be posting it in a few minutes. Come check it out!
ReplyDeleteOh..I didn't know tat women blink more than men..& I should really laugh more (hahaa)..
ReplyDeleteAre you kidding? I am DETERMINED to lick my elbow. I totally can, I'm sure!
ReplyDeleteI love these cool facts - yes you got me too!
ReplyDeleteI wrote about Kermit yesterday singing Rainbow connection - freaky.
OMGosh, those were GREAT!!!! I didn't try to lick my elbow but I am considering having someone tickle me a good five hours a day to lose weight!
ReplyDeleteI have no idea why but I laughed outloud at the lettuce info. I guess there are just some folks I know of that likely share a little more dna with a head of lettuce than the rest of us. ;)
ReplyDeleteHappy TT
~X
Great list of facts, happy tt.
ReplyDeleteThose are great! Love the last one
ReplyDeleteDO you wonder about running into those headless cockroaches while say..sneezing eeeeewww
ReplyDeleteyour n 9 is gross but the list was fun to read!!
ReplyDeleteHappy thirteening!
I like mountain dew and I even enjoyed crystal pepsi, but there is just something very wrong about thinking of coke not being brown!
ReplyDeleteI just thanked God I'm in the 30% who took your word for it! Elbow licking I mean.
ReplyDelete-HH
OK, how weird is it that I knew Kermit was left handed?
ReplyDeleteGreat info...I'll use it to impress my co-workers today!
Oh, what a delight to read. I'm part of the 30%. Today. I have tried it in my long-lost youth.
ReplyDeleteI was about to do the licking...Smiles. But yes, very interesting and entertaining list.
ReplyDeleteBTW, I hope you don't mind if I include you to my Blogroll.
I LOVE this list! Useless facts are fabulous! I need to bookmark this page so I can sound randomly smart to my husband... :)
ReplyDeleteYay, Kermit's a lefty like me!
ReplyDeleteGreat list. I always love these kinds of useless facts.
Thanks for visiting my TT. :-)
Lick your elbow? Ewww! Who would want to do that? Great trivia.
ReplyDeleteHappy TT!
I so love reading these little tidbits! I know that #2 is the reason many people say "Bless you" when you sneeze, just in case things don't start working again!!
ReplyDeleteHappy TT
I love me some useless facts. LOL
ReplyDeleteUsually they're the only stuff I can remember. But now:
1) I don't really believe #5.
2) I think I really have to laugh more. A lot more.
3) I want a coke. I would even try a green one...
:)
Hee hee! Especially love #s 12 & 13. :) Happy TT!
ReplyDeleteThis was a fun list to read. Yes it sure was. I've seen number 12 in a different list so I didn't try it. But here's another futile fact for you. If you take one of your right foot and rotate it counter clockwise, and then you take your right hand and draw a circle in a clockwise circle, your foot will automatically change directions. Go ahead, try it. Creepy right? Ta for now dahling!
ReplyDeleteThese are fun! Ew about the cockroach!! #6 gives me good reasons to watch comedies! I can't imagine drinking green coke -- glad they changed it!
ReplyDeleteThis is great stuff...the kind of useless facts I usually read about in the bathroom :)
ReplyDeleteBradley
The Egel Nest
#9 is just gross. I mean, how in the hec can they live that long without a head..eeewwww
ReplyDeleteI would like you to be my partner when playing Trivial Pursuit! Happy TT!!
ReplyDelete"Humans share one third of their DNA with lettuce" Gives a whole new meaning to the saying I may be green but I'm no cabbage.
ReplyDeleteI think women blink nearly twice as much as men because we can't believe that they are actually sitting on the couch watching TV while effectively ignoring three baskets of laundry on the floor beside them that need to be folded.
ReplyDeleteJust a theory.
LOL at #13, but I didn't try it. Mine are too ashy. Oops did I just admit that!! Very interesting, useless information. Gotta go pass it on!
ReplyDeleteConcerning #8? I think I know some people who share 90S% of their DNA with lettuce!
ReplyDeleteGreat list!
#5, Really? That's interesting. Great list!
ReplyDeleteLove these! And no, I didn't try to lick my elbow! Happy TT!
ReplyDeleteOmg, I am laughing so hard!
ReplyDeleteRight before I read #13, I was thinking of how glad I was that no one was around to see the hysterical sight of me and my tongue sticking out, bending my arm toward my face.
The bad thing is, I had to try it with my left elbow too, just to make sure it really wouldn't work :-)
Is it really true that only 30% of the world is normal? ;-)
Great post! I only knew a couple of those!
Ok, I know I laugh a lot...but this is a for sure thing to do more of with the help of weight loss. :)
ReplyDeleteHappy TT~ I love it!
Thanks for your thirteen. My kids are currently attempting to lick their elbows. We are using your blog to loose weight. So, you can laugh your. A..off!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the weight loss and the entertainment.
Busy Dad
Haha LOVE this TT. I always enjoy some useless information.
ReplyDeletelove useless facts!!
ReplyDeletei'm so cliche! i totally tried #12, then read #13 & laughed at myself!
ReplyDeleteWhoa...that's must be why I don't like sneezing!!
ReplyDeleteYou just blew my mind.
I'm so glad I didn't attempt to lick my elbow :)
ReplyDeleteI didn't know about the peanuts or Kermit. Interesting.
ReplyDeleteHappy TT!
Yikes! I could have done without the one about the cockroach! But I did NOT attempt to lick my elbow, thank you very much!
ReplyDeleteOh I love this list. Not to sure all bodily functions stop when you sneeze. Some people have been known to pass a little gas or wet their pants a little when they sneeze. Not me of course- I'm just sayin'.
ReplyDelete9 days without a head! Yick! Very interesting facts though!
